Congratulations—German Studies Majors Win Prizes and Fellowships

This year's recipients of the Max Freund Prize for most outstanding graduating German Studies majors were Kelly Ramos and Sarah Wiseman. The Goethe Book Prize for most outstanding sophomore or junior went to Esei Murakishi. Brian Mothersole, who will be starting a PhD in comparative literature at UT-Austin in 2010, was awarded a prestigious Fulbright Teaching Fellowship to Germany, and Deyanira Verdejo will enter law school at the University of Houston. Congratulations to them all!
